The celebrity-news website TMZ is reporting that former NFL star Junior Seau was found dead (gun shot) in his home in Oceanside and that the police suspect suicide (Yahoo).
Wow, I was really shocked when I read this, but when I did more research I remember that this is the same guy that in October 2010 was hospitalized after driving his SUV off a cliff several hours after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
A 10-time All-Pro, Seau, 43, played for the Chargers, the Dolphins and the Patriots. He played college football at the University of Southern California. Seems like most sites are confirming that it is indeed a suicide.
