Beckett will try to help the last-place Red Sox avoid a sixth straight home loss Thursday night when they open a four-game set against the AL Central-leading Cleveland Indians. Funny how much better of a team that friggin' Indians are then the Red Sox.
Hopefully Beckett shows up tonight, but I don't know what he has on his schedule. Maybe some bowling? Or a Beirut tourney or something?
One would hope he would come out pissed off tonight and throw a gem, but I am sick of picking the Red Sox to win every night then watch them get housed by some team that has about a 1/4 of the talent.
Lowe has had a nice year for himself letting up two or fewer runs in four of his first six starts for Cleveland. Johnny Damon is also on the Indians, so maybe fans can just sit back and remember when we were good.
